The Blaine County Oklahoma Retired Educators Association met April 9 and installed officers: president Liza Nelson, vice-president Yvonne Christensen, secretary Christie Lorenz, and treasurer Lisa Seitter The group also awarded $100 stipends to outstanding Blaine County school employees: Canton: Shelley Shepherd, secretary, Melinda Reed, custodian; Geary: Brenda Louthan, counselor, Sheri Lawson, secretary; and Watonga: Paula Helm, WES teacher; Shannon Turney, WMS science teacher; Melissa Roberts. WHS English teacher. The next meeting will be in September.
