At the End of the Day...

My friends Andrew (left) and Nick (right) celebrating after we got Nick’s car out of a snow drift in 2004. I think that day we had something along the lines of 20 inches of snow.

As an outsider and recent college graduate living alone in unfamiliar territory, I often find myself alone with my thoughts, and as they say, there is nothing more scary than just that. Here is a look into the thoughts and musings from the week that was and now is no more...
When Watonga canceled school on Monday I couldn’t help but laugh. There were days when I grew up where we would wake up to well over a foot of snow and wind chills of -30 and still have school. Albeit we were much more equipped to handle the snow, so there really isn’t a comparison to be made. So, as people called off work or closed their offices I was in shock to say the least. But it made me reminisce to when I was in high school and all of the fun I used to have when we would get a snow storm.
