Herman Junior Keenan

Herman Junior Keenan was born November 2, 1930 at Pruitt City, Oklahoma to William Roe and Maudie Keenan and passed away March 30, 2015 in Watonga, Okla. at the age of 84. Herman was a resident of the Watonga community for 43 years where he was an Oilfield Employee, daycare owner and cowboy. He graduated from High School in Brownstown, Illinois and was a member of the Nazarene Church in Watonga. He married Sue Jones at St. Louis, Missouri on January 29, 1971. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Lula Brown, Rueden Ritchey and Lucille Gatewood, brothers; Emitt Keenan, Homer Keenan and Archie Keenan and two daughters; Patricia Jo and Barb Frank. Herman is survived by his wife Sue of the home in Watonga, Okla., two sons, Steve Keenan and wife Sabrina of Watonga, Okla., Ty Keenan of Okeene, Okla.; four daughters, Bethy and husband Jerry Sutton of Edinburg, Illinois, Bonnie Edwards of Watonga, Okla, Bege and husband Cory Holdge, and Bobbi and husband Thad Schenk of Watonga, Okla.; one brother, .Joe and Wenonah Keenan of Princeton, Indiana ; 17 grandchildren, Micah and husband Jeremie Morris, Coy Keenan, Taylor Keenan, Jeremy and wife Stacey Frost, Jenna and husband Brian Goodin, Cameron Clayton, Andrew and wife Breanna Edwards, Tiffany Edwards and husband Cory McKinney, Jarrod and wife Mayra Flynn, Brittany Flynn, Javis Flynn, Briah Holdge, Bradi Schenk, Riley Schenk, Kris and husband Allan Houser, Kelly and husband Cliff Gamble, and Casey Hobbs; 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Herman were held Friday April 3, 2015 at the Nazarene Church in Watonga with Rev. Kason Oakes officiating. Burial followed at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga. Arrangements by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church in Watonga, Okla.
