Willie “Opal” Tucker Kelly Russworm 1922~2017

Willie “Opal” Tucker Kelly Russworm was born September 28, 1922 in Wellston Oklahoma and passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017, in Okeene, Oklahoma at the age of 95. Opal attended grade school and high school at Booker T. Washington in Cushing, Oklahoma. After graduating from high school she lived in Seattle, Washington, Monterey, California, and Oklahoma City. She made her permanent home in Watonga and Enid, Oklahoma where she and her husband owned and operated Russworm Funeral Home in both Watonga and Enid. Opal was kind to everyone she met and enjoyed being a good steward of the Lord by serving as Presidents of several Usher Boards at two churches she attended as a member. She was a beautiful, and sweet person who was kind to everyone. Opal was best known for her sassy demeanor, humor, and flashing a beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Texie McNela of Cushing, Oklahoma, husband Kenneth Russworm, and step-daughter, Marchelle Russworm. She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy one sister, Edna Maynard (Sonny) of Olathe, Kansas, one nephew, Alvin Maynard of Olathe, Kansas, one niece, Che’rell Bilquist (Dennis) of Olathe, Kansas, one great-nephew, Skyler Taylor (Mandi) of Overland Park, one great-great nephew, Atticus Taylor of Overland Park, one great-great niece, Zaylie Taylor of Overland Park, two step-sons, Kenneth and Larry Russworm of California, three step-grandsons and a host of blood relatives (cousins) and friends
