Eagles Eliminated from Postseason

In Watonga’s 25 prior games this season, the Eagles lowest offensive output came in their second to last game of the regular season. Against Carnegie, on February 9th, the Eagles scored 39 points in a loss. In Watonga’s 26th game, and what turned out to be their final game of the season, the Eagles scored just 26 points.

The Eagles, unfortunately, had their worst game of the year at the worst possible time as Crossings Christian shot the lights out and racked up a 66- 26 victory on their home court to defeat Watonga and end the Eagles’ season in the quarterfinals of the Class 2A Regional Consolation Tournament.
