This report is for the period from May 11th through May 17th. During this period, the Geary Police Department wrote 22 Municipal or District Citations.

On May 13th at approximately 11:59 am Geary Police officers took a report from a male subject who told them he had been physically and mentally abused by a family member who he lived with in the 300 block of Southeast Ringleman. Officers completed a report for this incident, and it was forwarded to the Blaine County District Attorney’s Office for the victim to obtain and Order of Protection.

On May 14th at approximately 9:50 am Geary Police officers conducted a traffic stop near Northwest 7th Street and North Broadway with a vehicle that was speeding. Officers contacted the driver identified as Zackeria Quonte Pender of Cottonwood, Alabama and learned the vehicle he was driving had an expired license plate and expired insurance. Officers also located a loaded and concealed firearm and an open container of alcohol inside of Pender’s vehicle. Officers arrested Pender and he was booked into the Geary Municipal jail on Geary Municipal charges of an expired tag, expired insurance, transporting an open container of alcohol and unlawful carry of a weapon.

On May 16th at approximately 7:02 pm Geary Police officers were called to a residence located in the 600 block of South Manilla for a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and spoke to two male subjects who had been involved in a domestic altercation and both reported to have been pushing on each other while arguing. Officers calmed both male subjects down and took a report. Officers will complete their report which will be filed as a record of this incident.
