Judy Wiggins, 79 of Watonga died Monday, November 9th at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born March 14, 1941, in Wynona, Oklahoma to Minnie L Powell and Mark DeLung. She spent her childhood in Wynona and graduated from Wynona High School. During her senior year she met George "Bud" Wiggins of Cedarvale, Kansas. They were married April 28, 1959 in Beaver, Oklahoma. While dad served in the Air Force four years, their two sons, Mike and Randy were born.

In 1968 she moved with her family to Watonga where they made their home. She started working at the former Sequoyah Spinning Mill in Watonga where she met many people who were to become lifelong friends. In the mid 1970’s she started working for G L Alexander at City Pharmacy in Watonga. Learning new things was important for mom and working at the pharmacy enabled her to learn new skills she found fascinating. On May 17, 1982, Judy went to work at then Watonga State Bank. For the next twenty-four years she worked as a teller and had other duties as needed. Working with the public proved to be her forte. On December 31" she retired from newly branded Cornerstone Bank to spend time with her husband and to travel. One of mom's biggest enjoyments was working in her yard with her f owers.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Bud, son Michael, her mother Minnie Powell, and a brother Kenneth Powell. She is survived by son Randy Wiggins of Watonga, brotherJoe Powell of Los Fresnos, TX, by granddaughters Lindsay Flannagan of Thornton, CO, and Alexandra Lewis of Los Angeles, CA, also grandson Jordan Wiggins of Rock Springs, WY. Hergreat grandchildren lase and Dailor Wiggins, Camden and Hudson Flannagan, and Asia Lewis were mom's pride and world.

There will be a memorial service for Judy, with date and time to be announced.
