Norita Marie (Laubach) Curtin was born March 26, 1939 to Herb and Ruby Laubach in Okeene, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at home in Watonga, Oklahoma at the age of 81.

Norita married Bob Adam in 1965. To this union her daughters, Laurie and Mendie, were born. She married Tim Curtin February 14, 1991. They lived in Watonga, OK where Norita worked beside Tim, as the bookkeeper for their newspaper operations until their retirement. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed sewing, quilting, and cooking. She also served as an organist at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Okeene, OK.

Norita is survived by her husband, Tim Curtin and two daughters, Laurie and husband Karl Blyth Coopersburg, PA and Mendie Adam of Olathe, KS; one brother, Harold Laubach of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and one sister, Nadine Benham of Garland, TX. Norita is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Norita was predeceased by sisters Normal Hill and Neoma Vanzant; and brothers Eugene Laubach, Donald Wahl and Virgil Laubach.

Arrangements are being made by Turner Funeral home, Geary, OK. Visitation will be Friday, November 6th, 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 621 N. Leach, Watonga, OK. Graveside services will be Saturday, November 7, at 10:30am at IOOF Cemetery, 2 miles east of Watonga and ¼ mile north on N. 2590 Road. A lunch for family and friends will be served following the services at the American Legion, 306 S. Noble, Watonga, OK.
