Geary Lady Bison Improve on the Road

The Geary Lady Bison softball team continued its winning ways last week when it defeated Waynoka Aug. 24 9-4 and went on to beat the Thomas Lady Terriers 17- 3 on Aug. 25.

The Lady Bison took on Hobart on the road, where they lost by 13-3. The game was part of the Arapaho High School tournament and Geary played Merritt as part of the tourney on Aug. 28 as well, losing a heartbreaker 8-7 in extra innings.

The non-stop action continued when they took on Verden at home where the Lady Bison gored the Lady Tigers 17-9.

Next up for the 9th ranked Lady Bison are Fletcher and Thomas beginning at 4:40 p.m. Sept. 1.
