Mercy Hospital Watonga will begin restricting visitors on campus due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma.

As a result of these concerning trends, visitors will be limited to protect patients and co-workers.

The following changes are effective November 25, 2020: Adult patients will not be allowed to have visitors anywhere on campus.

A few exceptions are listed below:

  • Visitors will be allowed for patients needing extra caregiver support including translation services, physical assistance and patients with an altered mental status.
  • Pediatric patients in the Emergency Department will be allowed to have a parent or guardian with them.

Visitor screening will continue at all Mercy locations, masks are required at all times and we continue to urge good hand hygiene and social distancing.
