Lady Bison Hit the Road for Eventful Week

The Geary Lady Bison softball team had a busy week and a busier one ahead.

Sept. 1 the team was at home in a three-way matchup with the Thomas Lady Terriers and the Fletcher Lady Wildcats. In the first outing, against Fletcher, the Lady Bison came out on top with 3 runs to none. Next up was the Lady Terriers who the home team spanked by 5 to 2, taking the Lady Bison record to 13-6.

The team carried the win at home into the game against the Okarche Lady Warriors, but were unable to come up with the W in that contest.

The Lady Bison were rained out against the Hydro Lady Bobcats on Sept. 8. The team holds its ranking of 19.

Next up for the Lady Bison is the Bethany tournament on the road set for Sept. 10-12 at Bethany. Play times for the Geary squad are 10:30 a.m. Sept. 10 against Bethany and noon against Bridge Creek.

The Lady Bison have added a game against Calumet on Sept. 17 to their schedule as well.
