OHCE Awards Two WHS Students

WATONGA — Blaine County Oklahoma Home and Community Education (OHCE) awarded two scholarships during Watonga High School’s Scholarship Night on May 7, held at the high school.

Audrey Moore, a senior at Watonga High School, was awarded the 2026 OHCE College Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Moore was recognized in person during the event.

The 2026 OHCE Career Tech Scholarship, valued at $750, was awarded to Yaritze Reza. Reza was unable to attend the ceremony but was announced among the scholarship recipients.

The Blaine County OHCE Scholarships are designed to support local students pursuing higher education and career training. Scholarships are available annually to Blaine County high school seniors planning to attend college or CareerTech programs, as well as students continuing their education whose home address is in Blaine County or who graduated from a Blaine County high school.

Earlier this spring, Blaine County OHCE encouraged students and families to apply through local high school counselors, the Blaine County Extension Office, and OHCE clubs including Pleasant Valley OHCE and Domestic Engineers OHCE of Watonga.

Blaine County OHCE congratulates both scholarship recipients and wishes them continued success as they pursue their educational and career goals.
