Hi Everyone! Another week has passed and it sounds like the coming one will be wet. We’re always glad to get rain as long as we don’t get too much at one time.

Estalene kept them moving in exercise class. We had 24 on Monday and Wednesday. Friday, it dropped off to 15. I hope all the talk about the coronavirus didn’t scare some away.

We plan to stay open as long as we can. So many people depend on our meals. Until we have some cases locally, we plan to continue to serve the community.

We did really well on our garage sale. Everything that was left was boxed up to have another sale during Watonga’s Town wide garage sale. We appreciate everyone that came by to check out what we had.

Saturday night was our regular music and games night. We had 27 people come in to share in the fun and visit. Wayne Maddux provided the music. He always does a good job

Ṁeals on Wheels was very busy this week with several meals being delivered each day. Our volunteers this week were Janet Taylor and Regina Glass on Monday, Brenda and Curtis Stein on Tuesday, Mary May and Greta Wright on Wednesday, Janice Hood on Thursday and Peggy Franks and Wayne Maddux on Friday. A big thank you to all of them.

We received a donation from the Watonga Christian Church along with Best Choice barcodes from Rose Sinclair and Bubba Rice. Robert and Kathryn Diamond gave a donation in memory of Pepper Hart.

They have got the quilting frame back up and will soon have another quilt to work on. I think the next one will be one made by Patsy Davis. I’m not positive of that. If you have a quilt top ready to be quilted, let us know. We do have a waiting list but it’s not very long. The ladies do a really good job too.

Don’t forget we have biscuits and gravy on Thursday mornings beginning at 8:00.

The pool table is uncovered now, so feel free to come in and practice. There may even be someone else there to play with.

I hope you have a great week. Till next week……
