Early Monday morning law enforcement staged a massive raid on the Cyco Flower marijuana grow at 500 E. Russworm Ave. That location is the former site of Hollytex Carpet Mills.
This reporter ventured to the site of the raid as it was ongoing to witness various trucks, vans and trailers coming onto the lot. Armed law enforcement maintained the perimeter and only allowed photography from outside the fence. The officers’ badges read Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, but some were also recognized employees of the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office. They referred all questions to the Federal Bureau of Investigations office in Oklahoma City, who referred all questions to Travis Smith, a U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma.
Smith, for his part, was unable to shed much light on the operation. “I am unfortunately unable to comment at this point in time on any ongoing operation,” Smith said. “All we can say is it is an ongoing operation in accordance with a lawful court order.” Blaine County sources outside law enforcement indicated more equipment had been requested to transport the large amount of plants that were under confiscation. The agencies involved had brought skid steers and other equipment, but more was needed. There was no word on where that confiscated material was being taken. Later in the day on Monday, multiple tractor trailers were loaded out of the building.

Several vehicles descended on a home on Chisholm Trail in Watonga and a vehicle stop near the hospital had multiple deputy and game warden vehicles as backup while the passengers were being patted down. There is no indication from law enforcement that these There is no indication from law enforcement that these other stops were associated with the operation at Cyco Flower.
Watonga Chief of Police Beth Massey stated her department could not comment on an ongoing Federal investigation, even as to whether WPD was part of the operation.
Sources outside law enforcement indicated that other sites associated with Cyco were also searched, seizures made and the sites shuttered.
Records from the Blaine County Assessor’s Office show Cyco Flower as owned by Yung Shane and the contact as Adrian Lopez. The phone number is from Tulsa and the license with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority is set to expire in October this year.
