The Blaine County Association of Oklahoma Home and Community Education will be holding its annual Santa’s Village and Holiday Bazaar on from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Blaine County Fairgrounds in Watonga.

Admission is free and open to the public. This is the 43rd year that this event has taken place. Current CDC guidelines will be followed for everyone’s safety and well-being.

The Santa’s Village portion of this event is always a treat for all ages. Come walk along Candy Cane Lane and visit with Santa. You can bring your cameras for pictures, too.

Vendor booths will be filled with Christmas crafts, holiday decorations and delicious homemade foods. Door prizes provided by vendors will be given out every 30 minutes.

A concession stand will be on site provided by Blaine County 4-H Teen Leaders, and it will serve a variety of items. This concession stand is the main fundraiser for these 4-H members and proceeds are used for leadership and citizenship activities, handson learning workshops and more.

Santa’s Village and the Holiday Bazaar serve as a community outreach for Blaine County OHCE members and any proceeds help support community service projects such as Relay for Life, awards for 4-H members, the Cat Foundation and much more.

For more information about Santa’s Village and Holiday Bazaar or OHCE, contact the Blaine County OSU Extension Office at 580-623-5195. OHCE is an organization with the purposes of adult education and community service sponsored through the Family and Consumer Sciences program at OSU Extension.
