Caddo County Retired Educators Updates

The Caddo County Retired Educators held their monthly meeting May 9 at the Caddo Kiowa CTC. There were seven members present along with two guests.

OEA SW Team Associate, Bruce Treadaway, who is also President of the Grady County Retired Educators and Linda Long, southwest District Director, were the two guests present at the meeting. Linda Long helped to install the officers for 2022-23. The list of officer include:

Harvey Mead - Legislative Chair

Julie Mead - Scholarship Chair

Donna Weaver - Membership Chair

After making plans for the monthly meetings in the 2022-23 school year, the group enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the CKTC food service department. This is the final meeting for this school year. Officers will meet in August to send mail outs to all retired educators in the area with a calendar of each meeting date. The group usually meets the second Monday of each month. The first meeting of the new school year will be in September.
