Hello everyone. We are getting excited to get things going again around the Ferguson Home Museum with winter over and Covid-19 starting to slack off some.

We have a wonderful volunteer, Clay Zahn and his wife from OKC, interested in helping with the repairs on the museum. He scraped and painted the west side of the home last fall and has plans to start working on front porch and painting as soon as weather cooperates. She has volunteered to work in the flower beds.

We are having our Easter Egg Hunt April 3, 2021, at 11:00 AM with pictures with the Easter Bunny at 10:00 AM. It's for kindergarteners and under. The younger ones must be able to walk. Also the Chicken Noodle Dinner will be April 23, 2021, at the Christian Church with no inside dinning. Meals will be available for pick up by driving under the car port or by calling for delivery at 580- 623-5069 or 580-791-2285.

We have had an organ donated to the home that was originally from Oklahoma. Louise and Donnie Dunn graciously drove up to Kansas City to pick it up. We also received a scale that was in one of the older drug stores here in Watonga. More information to follow on both of these items.

The heater stopped working when it was extremely cold so the water in the toilet tank froze and broke the tank flooding the restroom. Clay has volunteered to replace the wood on the floor and put down tile and anything else he can do to fix that. We really thank the city employees for all their help too.

We are looking for a new Site Director for the Museum, its 20 hours a week. We want to thank Sandra for her time with the museum.
