CHEYENNE Congressman Frank Lucas filed Friday for reelection, representing Oklahoma’s Third Congressional District.

“Serving my neighbors is an honor of a lifetime— a humbling responsibility I take seriously. In congress, I’ll continue working to resolve the critically important issues facing Oklahomans including inflation, border security and innovation that strengthens our national security, without losing sight of our conservative values. I’d be honored with your trust and your vote again.”

Lucas represents Oklahoma’s Third Congressional District, encompassing 32 counties— stretching from the Oklahoma panhandle to parts of Tulsa, and from Mustang to Altus in the southwest.

Lucas is readily available to the people he serves, hosting an annual town hall in every county of his expansive district.

During those town halls, Lucas answers questions from constituents as well as discusses issues and items of importance from his committees, the congress and the actions of the administration.

In addition to answering questions, Lucas often spends time chatting one on one with voters to make clear his stance on issues or in order to better understand their problems and concerns.

He serves on the House Agriculture Committee, the House Financial Services Committee and chairs the Committee on Science, Space and Technology. He and his wife, Lynda, operate a cattle ranch in Roger Mills County.

He was first elected to Congress in 1994. There are no term limits in the U.S.Congress.
