This report is for the period from September 21st through September 27th. During this period, the Geary Police Department wrote 27 Municipal or District Court Citations.

On September 23rd at approximately 8:35 pm Geary Police officers conducted a traffic stop near Highway 281 Spur and South Walbaum Road with a vehicle that had committed a traffic violation. Officers contacted the driver identified as Alice Mae Redding of Fayetteville, North Carolina and determined she had been drinking. During the traffic stop officers located open containers of alcohol inside of Redding’s vehicle and she made threats towards the officers. Redding agreed to take the State of Oklahoma test to determine the level of alcohol in her system and she was transported to the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office. After the States test had been administered Redding was booked into the Canadian County jail where charges are being sought for aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, transporting an open container of alcohol and making threats of violence.

On September 26th at approximately 9:40 pm Geary Police officers conducted a traffic stop near North Broadway and 7th Street with a vehicle that had committed a traffic violation. Officers contacted the driver identified as Marcus Augustine of Oklahoma City and learned he was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Officers also located numerous types of controlled dangerous substances as well as equipment used to distribute the illegal narcotics. Officers also located a loaded and concealed handgun inside of Augustine’s vehicle. Officers booked Augustine into the Blaine County jail where charges are being sought for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
