Our Site was closed on Monday because of President's Day Observance. Who knows, if we do get snow and ice again on Wednesday we may be closed again. The weather pattern we are currently having makes it hard to plan for anything.

Hinton kindergarten students and some other elementary classes made Valentine’s cards and brought them to the Center to be passed out with the meal deliveries. They were so cute and the kiddos were proud to have them given out to the seniors. Thank you students and their teachers for giving them to us. You are very creative.

We had the monthly Rook Club playing cards at the center on Saturday late afternoon. We meet every third

Saturday and enjoy the fellowship, fun and snacks.

Angel Home Health Care came by to check on us and also brought in some informative brochures regarding diabetes. They are available at the center if anyone would like to come by and pick one up.

Prayers are requested for Joy Strong, Danny Wright, Bob Howard, Terrell and Carol Jean Coffey, Jami Sisson Boling, Darlene Tedford, Rosa Harding, Terry Pawelek and her daughter Tricia, Peggy Coffey, Eldon and Donna Mae McCumber.

It seems that just as my body has gotten used to the time change, we are ready to change it again in March. I think a number of people feel the same way. Thank you to all of our meal deliverers for the kind service you provide. Until next time, take care and please stay safe
