March is here and can spring be close behind? With the crazy weather system we are having it is hard to tell. One day it is sandals and the next day it could be hoodies and jackets! What would be really appreciated is rain.
Our site was open all 5 days and we received a generous donation of dessert items. Thank you to our generous donors. A large number of our seniors were present Friday night at the American Legion Hall for a bingo night. It was a huge success and everyone is looking forward to another. One of our members, Lorene Thiel, celebrated a birthday on Tuesday. There were not too many on hand to sing to her but we wished her a Happy Birthday and best wishes for a blessed year.
Eldon and Donna Mae McCumber had several guests this past weekend. Their grandson Alec and his wife Micah flew in from North Carolina to help celebrate Donna Mae's 93rd. birthday. It was a week early celebration for her but an enjoyable one.
Prayers are requested for Joy Strong, Danny Wright, Terrell & Carol Jean Coffey, Darlene Tedford, Terry Pawelek and her daughter Tricia, Jami Sisson Boling, Bob Howard, Eldon & Donna Mae McCumber. Prayers and Condolences are also extended to the family of Wayne McCain who passed away after suffering severe burns following the devastating fire at his residence. He was a very caring and loving man.
