How to Cook a Turkey

Roast it, bake, broil, grill or fry it? As Thanksgiving approaches, we talked turkey with some of Blaine County’s classes at Watonga and Geary Elementary Schools to ask them to tell us how to properly prepare the traditional holiday fowl. Here’s what they had to say:

First I would get a turkey from the chicken field and cut it. Next I would make it like a chicken on the stove. Cook for 80 minutes on 98 degrees but want it cold. When the timer says 0 take it out and eat it with chicken, but not the real animal, just the food chicken.

Cooks in the oven. Next cook for 6 mins a 1000 minutes on hot. But it has to be a lil bit cold and a lot hot. Then you eat it, just wait for it to cool down. Eat with a fork.

First cook the turkey in the oven at 200. Then cook for 2 mins. Take it out and cut it and eat it.

First find a turkey at the farm. Then cook the turkey. Put him in the oven after the beep, When it's done, let it cool down. Then you eat it.

First catch it. Next cook it in the microwave for 1 min. Lastly, eat it.

First we cut the turkey. Next boil it for 15 seconds on hot. Then take it out and put pepper and salt on it. Finally, eat it with a plate, knife and ford.

First find a turkey on the farm. Then put it in the microwave for 8 hours. Take it out and let it cool. And then eat it with a fork.

First get him from the store. Cook in the microwave. Or buy it from the store. Eat.

First buy from Karls. Next cook him on the stove for 30 mins. Get it out and chop it up with a knife. Finally you eat it.

First get a turkey from the farm. Next we put it in the oven. We cook him for Thanksgiving. Finally eat him.

First cook it in the oven on hot for 4 hours. Then put it on a plate. Add salt and eat.

First my dad catches a turkey, then we cook him in a big pot. For maybe 10 mins. Then eat and have fun.
