Hi, everybody! I hope you all had a great week. Sounds like this week will be good weatherwise. I could sure do without all the pollen. It keeps me sneezing and my nose running a lot of the time.

Last week we were closed on Monday for President’s Day so the meals were delivered by Sharon Barnes, Curt and Brenda Stein, Janice Hood and Vernon Brickman the rest of the week. Thank you all so much.

Margie Smith brought in cans to recycle. Thank you, Margie.

I don’t know what happened, but back in January I left out a memorial donation from B.J. Webb in memory of Larry Bernhardt, Flo Rickey and Marvin Daugherty. I’m really sorry about that, B.J. Thank you for the donation and for calling its omission to my attention.

Last week there were 14 people who came in for biscuits and gravy. That’s terrific! I hope they continue to have good numbers for this meal. It’s always good and it is served on Thursday mornings beginning at 8 a.m. by donation. Come in to eat or get one to go.

We had the same three quilters Thursday – Estalene, Judy and Louise. We’re glad they enjoy quilting.

Saturday night 31 people came in to play games, listen to good music and enjoy some good food. I always eat too much, there is such a great variety. We’ll meet again at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 9. Come on in and join the fun.

Here’s our menu for the next few days. If you see something you like come in and eat with us about 11:30 or you can get it fixed to go. It’s only $7 for a full meal.

Thursday, Feb. 29 – Ham and beans Friday – Indian tacos Monday – Taco salad Tuesday – Chicken strips Wednesday – Kiwanis meets at noon, we eat at 11 a.m.

Thursday, March 7 – Breaded pork loin Friday – Turkey and dressing I’m looking forward to the turkey and dressing, it’s one of my favorite meals, but I also like ham and beans and Indian tacos.

I hope you all have a great week, it sounds like it is gonna be nice. John is getting gardening fever. He’ll start working on his roses soon.

Take care, stay safe. ‘Til next week …
