Hi everyone! Well we made it through another Cheese Festival. And it was a good one. Lots of people came out to enjoy. It helped that the weather was great! I hope most of you got out to check it out. I heard some of the vendors said it was the best in several years as far as sales. That's good. That means they'll be back next year.

Our turkey and dressing fundraiser was a success! Thank you to everyone that attended and for all the donations. If we hadn't run out of dressing we could have sold even more. And my goodness at the desserts we had. Every kind of pie, cake or other dessert you can imagine. We are so thankful for all of you that brought in desserts to help us out. We appreciate you all so very much. And a big Thank You to Pat Howry for coming in to mix up the dressing for us. We had several comments on how good it was. Thank you to Dennis Espy for smoking the turkeys for us. We had more than enough but we'll continue to enjoy it a little later. I want to thank all those seniors that came out to help serve the dinner. We couldn't have done it without you.

A big thanks to the Masons that came in to help out. They collected money, handed out plates, and directed those wanting orders to go. We appreciate all they do to help us when we need it.

Esther Arnold renewed her membership with us. Thank you Esther!

B.J. Webb made a donation in memory of Spring Bradford Raines, Twilla Bixler, Marshall and Mitchell Alexander, and Delbert and Nadine Pearson. John and Sharon Gates made a donation in memory of Marshall and Mitchell Alexander and Delbert and Nadine Perason. Thank you for these donations.

Donna Oler brought in several bags of apples. Thank you, Donna, for sharing them with us.

These are the folks that carried out meals last week. Thanks to all of you for helping us out. Susan Shrader and D'von Poulson, Karen Dugger and Regina Glass, Brenda and Curt Stein, Pat Brewer, and Vernon Brickman.

If you get a chance, drop by to see the new quilt we have hanging! It was done by Maxine Strack in beautiful fall colors.

Here's our menu for the coming days.

Friday: Fried chicken

Monday: Bratwurst sandwich and chips

Tuesday: Chicken fried steak Wednesday: Kiwanis meets
