Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I am, so far. You never know from one day to the next at this age.

I messed up last week and forgot to tell you the ladies were coming to do blood pressure and blood sugar checks on Friday. Eight people got theirs checked. I'll try to inform you on time next month.

Gene Matli and Estalene Teply came in to do some quilting. They must have stayed after biscuits and gravy. If you like to quilt feel free to come in and join them. They can always use more help.

Next Saturday, the 23rd, we'll be having music and games. It starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Bring a snack of some kind and come join us for some fun. We have a good time.

Several got to enjoy squash brought in by Bill Roper. We sure appreciate you sharing with us, Bill.

Betty Chapman made a donation toward the fundraiser we had. Thank you Betty! Yvonne Christensen made a donation to the Center. Thank you Yvonne! We appreciate all the donations we've received recently. They will definitely help us as our funds have been depleting faster than what was coming in. Thank you to everyone who has sent us a donation.

Doug and Mollie Parham and the Frank and Maxine Strack family made donations in memory of Nadine and Delbert Pearson. Yvonne Christensen made a donation in memory of Mitchell and Marshall Alexander and Twila Bixler. Delores Fry made a donation in memory of Mina Green. We are very thankful for all these donations.

These are the ones that delivered meals last week. Pat Brewer, Karen Dugger and Sharon Barnes, Brenda and Curt Stein, Janice Hood, and Vernon Brickman. Thank you all for your help with this project.

Here's our menu for the next few days:

Thursday: Liver and onions

Friday: Roast pork

Monday: BBQ smoked sausage

Tuesday: Ham and beans

Wednesday: Kiwanis meets

Thursday (Oct. 28): Chicken spaghetti

Friday (Oct. 29): Roast beef

You don't want to miss the liver and onions. It's always delicious.

That's about it for this week. Take care and stay well. Til next week...
