Hi, everyone! Another week has already passed. Last week was filled with more doctor visits for us. Between John and me, we’re keeping them busy. I hope all of you are doing well.

Did you have a lot of trick or treaters? It was quiet at my house. I took candy to our church for Trunk or Treat. It’s so much fun for the kids and some adults get really involved. We had fun when our kids were little.

Thank you, Howard Hursh for the eggs you brought to the center. We really appreciate it.

Yvonne Christensen and Tim and Carla Espy made donations to the center. Thank you all so much for thinking of us.

Estalene Teply gave a donation in memory of Cary Clyden. Yvonne Christensen made a donation in memory of Dale Green, Tim Foley and Larry Jenkins. Thank you both for these memorial gifts.

Volamae ‘Toots’ Marks renewed her membership. We’re sure glad to have you, Toots.

We only had two quilters on Thursday after biscuits and gravy. They worked on a baby quilt for Judy Curtin and Judy was helped by Naida Kerr. As far as I know the quilt for Connie Burcham has not been put in the frame yet for quilting. Maybe it’ll be ready this week.

Our regular deliveries carried our meals for us last week. We sure appreciate the delivery help. I don’t know what we’d do without them.

Here is our menu for the next several days. Call us for meals to go or for meals to be delivered. Please call before 10 a.m. for deliveries.

Thursday Nov. 3 BBQ sausage Friday Indian tacos Monday Taco salad Tuesday Chili dogs, chips and salad Wednesday Kiwanis meets at noon, we eat at 11 a.m. Thursday Nov. 10 BBQ ribs Friday Fried chicken And don’t forget biscuits and sausage gravy at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning.

That’s all my news for this week. I hope you all have a great week. Stay safe and stay well. ‘Til next week …
