The Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) Department of Music is excited to announce that the SWOSU Music Academy is now open for enrollment, offering a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages and skill levels to explore, develop, and grow their passion for music. The enrollment deadline is on Friday, September 1, with classes beginning the week of September 11 and concluding with a final concert on Sunday, November 19.

Led by co-Directors Chrissy Hagood and Kathleen Jung, the SWOSU Music Academy will offer a diverse range of engaging and enriching programs, including private lessons and adaptive lessons taught by Junior Faculty (current SWOSU Music students), all under the guidance of the SWOSU Music faculty.

In addition to the private lessons, students will have the opportunity to engage in group classes such as Allegro Youth Choir, Musical, Preschool Pups, and Group Piano Lessons, led by accomplished music educator alumni.

The SWOSU Music Academy welcomes all individuals with a passion for music, whether a novice or an experienced musician. Participants can explore various music genres, develop their vocal or instrumental abilities, and expand their knowledge through group activities.
