WATONGA – The University of Central Oklahoma released its spring honor roll on Wednesday, July 7, a list that included some local names.

Watonga’s Lavender Cisneros earned a spot on the President’s Honor Roll this spring, while Jennifer Oliver made the Dean’s Honor Roll.

In a press release, the university said earning a spot on its honor rolls is “a distinction given to those who achieve the highest academic standards.” Students with a 4.0 GPA for the semester were named to the President’s Honor Roll, while students who maintained a 3.5 GPA, with no grade lower than a B, made the Dean’s Honor Roll.

There were 1,479 students on the President’s Honor Roll and 1,804 on the Dean’s Honor Roll this semester, the university said. Students must complete at least 12 hours of on-campus credit to be eligible.

UCO is located in Edmond and its current enrollment is just under 14,000 students, the school said.
