Candidate Filing Begins April 3 in Oklahoma

Statewide election activity officially begins at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, when the candidate filing period opens, Brenda Rice, Secretary of the Blaine County Election Board said. Candidates for state offices file with the Secretary of the State Election Board.

Customer Thwarts Love’s Robbery

According to staff and management of the Love’s store #1, there was an attempted robbery Saturday evening. General manager Lisa Dollar said that at 8:39 p.m. Saturday, March 23, a male dressed from head to toe in black clothing entered the store and immediately shoved a pistol at the clerk.
