We had six visitors this week. Two ladies from New York City, New York, staying at the Lucky Star Casino that were here visiting family. They walked from the Casino to the museum for a tour. They are to be admired for doing so.

Hi everybody! I hope you're all doing well today. I'm writing this on Monday morning and it's a beautiful morning full of sunshine. We are on our way to Yukon and I see a lot of the fields have been cut and baled. It's not a good year for wheat I guess. Not enough rain when it was needed.

Watonga eighth-graders celebrated their graduation to high school on Tuesday, May 17, at the Watonga gymnasium. Parents and teachers turned out to cheer on the Class of 2026 as they prepare for freshman year.

Students in Mrs. Cowan’s seventh grade reading classes designed shirts to represent their favorite book that they read this year. Each student wrote a book talk which was read aloud while they modeled their shirt in a school fashion show. School librarians were the judges for the contest.

As the school year comes to a close Watonga FFA held its local banquet on May 10th. We celebrated all the accomplishments over the year from the different teams: Opening Ceremonies, Land judging, Speech and Ag Mechanics then announced the new officer team for next year.
