Policy Updated for Graduation, Valedictorian

High school graduation requirements have changed in Oklahoma, although a minimum of 23 credits is still necessary to get that sheepskin. The changes were instituted at the state level by the legislature.

Deever Bill to Hunt Feral Hogs Passes Committee

OKLAHOMA CITYThe Oklahoma Senate Agriculture and Wildlife Committee approved Senate Bill 2108 on Monday. The bill, authored by Sen. Dusty Deevers, R-Elgin, would repeal burdensome licensing requirements related to the hunting of feral hogs, streamlining and simplifying the process.

Retired Educators Meet

The Caddo County retired educators held its monthly meeting on Monday, January 12, at Caddo Kiowa Technology Center in Fort Cobb. There were 14 members present along with five guests. Following the flag salute conducted by president Paula Squires, Harvey Mead gave a devotional on trusting God.
