Dear Editor:
County Road 720 runs west of Hitchcock through the gyp hills and intersects Highway 51A between Southard and the west Roman Nose State Park entrance. No other through county roads exist without traveling extra distances. It was black topped many years ago and was not designed for heavy truck traffic. It is also the boundary between Blaine County districts #3 (Watonga) which maintains from Hitchcock to the Hoskins crusher entrance and District #2 (Okeene) from crusher entrance to 51A. District #3 is not or is unwilling to provide a reasonable solution to the wash boards, potholes and large pieces of broken up asphalt. Please take the time to drive this road prior to the Blaine County District #3 upcoming election as it appears a change is necessary. Or stop in at the local Co-op station on weekdays from 7.30 to 9 a.m. as they may have thoughts on this matter. There are options!
