Brooklyn turned in her brags to be assistant principal. She helped pass out cupcakes for the reading challenge reward and even made a trip to the superintendent’s office. So proud of Brooklyn for stepping up and showing great leadership!
According to posts on social media, Reggie Island has been named the head boys basketball coach for Geary High School. “I’ve spent most of my life in Cheyenne Arapaho Country, so when the opportunity came to get back HOME, it was one I couldn’t pass up,” he wrote.
Island mentioned he was bringing two students with him. One will be a senior this fall. He was excited about the move and enthusiastic about the depth of talent and the culture, including family and friends.
Island wrote he was ready to build something special at Geary and was ready to get to work. He also thanked the superintendent for the opportunity.
