Well, sure enough, I almost forgot to write my column for the week. It’s 1:30 in the morning and here I sit trying to get my thoughts together. Oh well, I wasn’t sleeping anyway.
We had some membership renewals this week. They were Mae and Jim Thompson and Sharon and John Gates. That’s a good sign that people are confident this virus thing will be over soon.
Meals on Wheels were delivered to about 15 people each day. We are so thankful for those folks who have donated their time to make those deliveries. This week the volunteers were D’Von Poulson and Dee Rodney, Brenda Stein, 2 days, Janice Hood and Peggy Franks and Wayne Maddux. Thanks to all of you.
Still no quilt in the frame, but then no one to quilt it either. I sure miss seeing one when I’m at the Center.
Seems like Old Man Winter just doesn’t want to give it up yet. Now it’s going to freeze again. I hope you can save your garden plants and flowers. But next week, back in the 70’s and 80’s. Surely Spring will get here soon.
