SENIOR CENTER NEWS

Hi everyone! It has been a good week. I hope yours was good too. Monday Regina Glass and Karen Dugger carried the meals on wheels. Tuesday it was Mary Brown and Karen Dugger, Wednesday it was Brenda and Curt Stein, Thursday it was Janice Hood and Friday it was Vernon Brickman. Thanks to all of you for your help.

Valerie Iams donated several paperback books. Frances Ice made a monetary donation and a donation in memory of Richard Bernhardt. Thank you, ladies, for all these donations.

We had a great attendance on Saturday night for our music and game night. We had 33 present and we all had a good time. We had 4 tables of cards, 2 tables of dominoes, and the pool table all going, along with music by David Greene and Wayne Maddux. And we had lots of food brought. Everyone had to wear gloves to go through the food line, but no one seemed to mind. It seemed like people were ready to get out and mix again. It was good to see everyone out and enjoying themselves. We will do it again on May 8th from 6 to 9 PM. Come join us.

Exercise is still going strong with several attending. It is at 9AM on Monday, Wednesday, And Friday.

Friday, April 30th will be our birthday dinner for April. If you had a birthday in April and you are a paid-up member, you would get a free lunch. Also, that Friday, we’re going to start playing Bingo again. It only cost a quarter to play. We just like to have a little fun.

Here is our menu for the next few days. Looks good! Call us for delivery before 10 AM. Call before noon for a pickup dinner. We eat about 11:45 each day, except Wednesday, when we eat at 11 AM because Kiwanis meets at noon.

Friday- Roast Beef (birthday Dinner)

Monday- Beef Pot Pie

Tuesday- Chicken Strips
