Hi Everybody! How’s this week going for you? At least its been a little cooler. Well last Friday was our regular birthday dinner. We had quite a few in to eat, but mostly the meals are carried out. We had enough come in early to have two tables of cards going. One was Skip-Bo and one was canasta. After lunch several played bingo. Winners were Pat Pritehett, Paul Prichett, Freda Hausner, Martha White and Delores Trumbley. We had several stay to play cards after bingo. It was a good day. We only had a couple of people come in to quilt. They were Jennie Castleberry and Estalene Teply. Don’t forget Friday night they’ll be going to Weatherford on the bus to go to a music get- together. Call for a seat on the bus. AND- next Saturday night is our Sock Hop at City Hall from 7 to 10 with a real DJ to play the music for us. Entrance is $5 and all ages are welcome. It’ll be fun. Come on out to listen to the music at least from the 50’s and 60’s. Plan on it! Our meals on wheels deliverers last week were Karen Dugger and Mary Brown, Teresa Bryan, Brenda and Curt Stein, Janice Hood, and Vernon Brickman. Thank you all so much for all your help. We had several different donations last week. Janice Hood brough in fresh vegetables. Dorothy Jameson made a donation toward the cost of the Sock Hop. Don and Kristin Temple made a donation toward the cost of roof repairs. And Naomi Andersen brought in Best Choice labels. We appreciate all these donations. Thank you all for thinking of us. There has been some confusion about what time we eat lunch. People are coming at different time and going through the line. Our lunch time is 12 noon. Several people have complained about the irregular times, so we are officially setting lunch time at noon. I hope you all have a wonderful week. You might want to keep your mask handy. I still wear mine at certain places. Just take care and stay safe.
