WAUKOMIS – Three Watonga softball standouts participated in the Tri-County All-Conference Game at Pioneer High School on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

While Watonga’s team didn’t take the game – the home Pioneer-Watonga-Kingfisher squad fell 9-3 – the Lady Eagles did have some standout moments at the game.
Bridges, most notably, led off the bottom of the first inning with a solo shot to right field. She smiled around the bases and was greeted by her teammates at home plate.
Walker contributed to the cause with an RBI sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. She also made a consistent shortstop for the home team, notching several putouts without issue.
In the circle, Roberts pitched the first two innings for the home team and struck out two.
Watonga head coach Alyssa Fuxa was there to coach some first base and encourage her girls. She’ll return for slow pitch softball this spring.
