The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Oct. 1, for the Lucky Star Hotel and Convention Center in Watonga. The casino and hotel held a "Tribal Night" grand opening on Friday before a grand opening party for the general public on Saturday, Oct. 2. The ribbon-cutting marks the completion of a yearslong project to transform the Watonga casino into Lucky Star's nicest venue. Rooms at the hotel are now available to book at luckystarcasino.org/stay.
