Hi everyone! Well, another week’s already gone by. How time flies! Have you got your treats ready for Saturday night. it’ll be Halloween you know? Remember when it was your turn to go trick or treating? Didn’t we all have fun dressing up with our friends? We never had to have our treats checked by our parents. How times have changed. We had 34 in on Saturday night for fun and games. Music was provided by David Green, Wayne Maddux, and Larry Lee. John and I missed the first couple of hours while we went to the wrestling group’s chili cook-off and auction at the middle school gym. I didn’t get to taste all the chilis but what I had were all very good. I skipped the really spicy ones. We participated in the auction and ended up bringing home some nice desserts. I hear we had some quilters in last Thursday. They were Judy Curtin, Gene Matli, Esatlene Teply, and Jennie Castleberry. They got a good bit done on the quilt I’m sure. They’re all good quilters. Come on in and quilt with them or just visit with them on Thursday morning. They’ll be glad to see you. Donna White renewed her membership last week. Thanks, Donna! Jane Crawford made a donation in memory of Charlie Poarch, Shirley Wigington, and Mina Green. Yvonne Christensen made a donation in memory of Charlie Poarch, Shirley Wigington. And Mina Green. Donna White made a donation in memory of Mina Green. We are very thankful for all these gifts.
