Valentine's Day has passed and I hope it was a pleasant one for you. Weather was still nippy on Sunday but the sun was shining and no snow like a week ago.
Prayers and condolences go out to the family of one of our former senior participants. Alpha Tillman was always such a joyful and fun person to be around. She was such a gifted artist and loved to bring in whatever she was currently painting and shared that with us. She loved to dance and was always so cheerful. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
For those who know and remember Betty Fulton, she is doing well and still lives in Edmond. Eldon McCumber, one of our members celebrated his 94th birthday on the weekend. Several outof-town relatives were on hand to help this fine gentleman celebrate the day!!
I saw several people I had not seen for quite a while when I worked the election. It was good to see them again and know they were able to get out and vote.
I heard a lot of good comments about the open-faced beef sandwiches and taco soup that our cooks prepared for our senior lunches last week. We try to serve good meals and hope that our food suppliers will be able to provide what we need to continue the service.
Prayers are requested for Joy Strong, Danny Wright, Darlene Tedford, Terry Pawelek and her daughter Tricia, Jami Sisson Boling, Bob Howard, Peggy Coffey, Eldon McCumber, Donna Mae McCumber, Terrell and Carol Jean Coffey. Until next time, be well and stay safe.
