Driving home from Church on Sunday I saw so many ‘HE IS RISEN’ signs staked in many yards. A certain indicated sign that it was Easter Sunday. The weather contributed a pleasant, less windy day allowing us to spend some time outdoors. I noticed some families had Easter egg hunts going on in their yards and it looked like there were a good number of great get togethers!!
At the Sr. Center we had a few more participants come in and even had a domino game going on again. Kayla Trahan from Brookdale Facility stopped in to see how things were going. She lends a hand if we need someone to help get the meals out on time.
We received a donation of fruit and vegetable canned goods. The donor’s generosity was much appreciated.
This week's Menu started with a Ham & Shredded Cheese Casserole and that is a favorite with our participants. As warmer weather is headed our way we hope more of our Seniors will venture out again. It is always good to see them socializing again.
