Larry Clyde Jenkins Sr. or “Koolman” and of course “The Black Mayor”, was born June 21, 1951, in Watonga, Oklahoma, to L.C. Jenkins and Geraldine (Burton) Jenkins. He passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 71, after a courageous battle with cancer.
