Early 3- Run Inning Has No Bearing

Watonga Eagles Varsity managed through a push by Crescent in the sixth inning where Watonga Eagles Varsity coughed up three runs, but Watonga Eagles Varsity still won 10-5 on Friday. The offensive firepower by Crescent was led by Te Rice, #5, and Lovett, who all drove in runs.

Watonga Eagles varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Malcomb Brummett was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Nick Walker got the win for the Eagles. The pitcher allowed six hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out five.

Varner took the loss for Crescent. The Bulldog lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and eight runs while striking out seven.

Rylan Miller went 2for-4 at the plate to lead Watonga Eagles varsity in hits. Watonga Eagles Varsity stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Dakota Morris led the way with three.

Rice led Crescent with three hits in three at bats.
