Hi, everybody! I hope you all had a great 4th of July. We didn’t do anything special, we went up to Canton and checked out all the boats on the lake and the skiers. There were lots of people on the beach. When we came home, we stopped by the airport and watched the fireworks over Watonga.
I developed another nosebleed again last week. I had an appointment (I thought) for an MRI at Southwest Medical Center so when we got there, I went to the ER. They worked all day trying to get it to stop. Finally, we got to leave about 5:30. So far, it’s doing good.
I’ve been feeling better each day. I’ve been doing some cooking and it feels good to be in the kitchen again.
There wasn’t much news from the center last week. They got the quilt finished and out of the frame. I’m told they have a new one to start on from Velma Gould, but I don’t know what it looks like yet.
I’ve decided I need to get out of the house more. I’m going to go to the center on Tuesday and Friday this week. I can’t quilt but I can visit. Tuesday they are having baked potatoes and Friday is Indian tacos.
I didn’t ge to see it but I’m told there is a new flag in front of the center advertising meal times. Thanks to Dorene and LaWayne Flaming for this helpful item. They said it’s called a feather flag. I’ll have to make it a point to check it out.
