AT LEFT and BELOW: The Geary cross country teams traveled Sept. 28 to the Kingfisher meet with more than 20 other schools. Geary had 30 runners up before dawn to go compete as they set numerous personal records and several school records. Tavin Castleberry, Rylan Peralta, and Levi Callahan medaled in the high school boys’ race.
Senior Malena Beaver medaled in the high school girls’ race with the team finishing in sixth place. The middle school girls finished 7th overall with 6th grader Mylee Flinn finishing 29th overall.
The last race of the day had the middle school boys team finishing in third place overall. Eighth grader Braden Charley finished second with 7th graders Cheston Olsen in 8th and Hunter Weaver in 15th.
