Zac Diaz drove in four runs Thursday on three hits to lead The Eagles past Tipton 15-3. Diaz singled in the second inning, scoring two, singled again in the second scoring one, and doubled in the third scoring one.
Watonga won thanks in part to 11 runs in the second inning. Diaz singled, scoring one run, a dropped third strike scored one run. Tipton opened the scoring in the first after an error scored two runs. The Eagles tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a walk by Manke, and a passed ball. A single by #15 gave Tipton the lead, 32, in the top of the second. Watonga added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Allen singled to left field, and Diaz doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Parker Roberts earned the win for Watonga.
