Watonga Elementary’s Gifted students(AT LEFT) recently took a trip on old Route 66 with April Shrader after researching and studying its historic significance to Oklahoma.
The trip included a visit to the Route 66 Museum in Clinton, lunch at Lucille’s in Weatherford, visiting the original Lucille’s gas station in Hydro, the ghost town of Bridgeport, and Pony Bridge outside of Geary.
