After having struggled this season, the Watonga Eagles turned things around on Friday at Homecoming. They came out on top against the Hinton Comets by a score of 27-14. The Eagles' offense was on the mark, scoring the most points they have driven home this season. The win brings the Watonga record to 1-5 and the loss drops Hinton to an 0-6 record. Next up for Watonga is Sayre at 7 p.m. Thursday on the road. Sayre is coming off a big win against Merritt, 28-6. That takes their record to 4-2 on the season.
