On the night of October 15, 2020, the Lord called Ben Ewers home.

Ben William Ewers was born on a farm NE of Hitchcock, OK on July 11, 1926 to Henry and Helen Ewers. Ben graduated from Hitchcock High School in 1944. He met and fell in love with a dark-haired gal, Dora Jean Wilkinson, from Greenfield. They were married on April 8,1947, in Okeene and settled on a farm 1 mile south of Hitchcock. Over the course of many years, they lived in Watonga, Bethany, Savanah, GA, back to Watonga, then Alamo Texas and back again to OKC. Ben worked for many years for Aero Commander in Bethany, OK, and Gulf Steam in Savanah, GA. Ben loved his family but also loved his toys, planes, motorcycles, boats, and fifth wheels.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents and brother Phillip, sisters Catherine, Mary Agnes, and Arlene.

Surviving Ben is his wife of 73 years, Dora Jean, brother Norbert (Ruthie) of Grand Prairie, TX, sisters Theresa Otis of Okarche, Ok, and Betty (Carlos) Boburg of Moore Ok. . cChildren Gary (Nancy) Sparks, NV, Patricia Hon, Fernley, NV, Mary (Dale) Webb, OKC, James, Wilburton, OK, Angela Bailey, Jones, Ok, Gregory (Glenda) Watonga, OK and Jean Ann (Rudy) Gonzales, Dallas TX. 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

The family will schedule a Celebration of Ben’s Life hopefully in the spring of 2021.
