Bonnie Jean Shanklin Huser passed away on December 12, 2019 in Roseville, CA at the age of 86. She was one of the original 13 children born to Earis and Mary Shanklin. She was a twin, born alongside her brother Johnnie on September 17, 1933. She is survived by 2 of the original 13 siblings, Ora Carolyn Shanklin Ralston and Phyllis Kay Shanklin Hale.

Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Ernest Eugene Huser in 2006. She had two biological children, Mary Margaret Netherton Emery and Sherri Jean Huser Calixto; and two step-children, Lee Ellen Huser Brown and Diana Gene Huser Edmonson. She leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Kari Jo Emery-Cotner, Zachary Paul Brown, Rebecca Michelle Brown Barnes, Jessica Lee Edmonson Burke, and Matthew Thomas Edmonson. She also had 7 Great Grandchildren, Alexandria, Katie, Kaylee, Daniel, Aaron, Harper, and Beckett.

She was a master genealogist and member of several hereditary societies. Most notably, she was a proud member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, and National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century.

Bonnie was kind, loving and giving. She loved to read, loved her rose garden, enjoyed history, traveling, the theater, and had a healthy fascination with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (Jackie O), who she favored in looks.

Her ashes will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery in Bridgeport, OK on July 19th at 9:30 a.m. alongside her husband Ernie, twin brother Johnnie, Mother and Father Earis and Mary, and two sisters Esther Jo Ellen Shanklin Martin and Myrtle Anna Lou Shanklin Schenone.

A luncheon will be held directly following the graveside service at the Church of Christ in Hinton, OK.
